SOLUTIONS
CommunityScale led City of Everett’s recodification project to craft a new zoning ordinance and zoning map for the Massachusetts city. The engagement set out to modernize an outdated code in line with the mayor’s vision of a walkable, mixed-use Everett, working alongside city staff and project partners. This announcement marked the start of the effort, with progress to be shared as the team moved from analysis into drafting new land use, dimensional, and map standards. The recodification would go on to address mobility, economic development, and stormwater management across the city.
