Housing needs assessments for three Kentucky Buffalo Trace counties

SOLUTIONS

CommunityScale completed housing needs assessments for Bracken, Mason, and Robertson Counties, three rural counties in Kentucky’s Buffalo Trace Area Development District. Each assessment gave its county a clear, data-driven picture of current and projected housing demand, the existing stock, and the gaps between them, establishing a foundation for local housing policy and production goals. By examining three very different rural communities under a shared framework, the work showed how a consistent methodology can be tailored to the distinct market and affordability pressures each county faces. Full reports were delivered for Bracken, Mason, and Robertson Counties, giving the Buffalo Trace region a common evidence base for action.
