Consulting
CommunityScale’s consulting practice extends beyond our core housing and zoning products to broader planning, policy, and analytical work. Team members have contributed to award-winning master plans, revitalization strategies, healthy-cities and sustainability initiatives, and walkability assessments, and we serve as expert witnesses for land use disputes. Across these engagements we bring the same data-first, evidence-based approach that defines our housing and zoning work.
Typical scopes include neighborhood and corridor master planning, urban design and design guidelines, development feasibility analysis, RFP responses and price proposals, structured synthesis of stakeholder input into barriers assessments and plan recommendations, and expert witness testimony before housing appeals committees and similar bodies. Engagements are calibrated to the political, regulatory, and community context they sit in.
